When you first opened your doors, you had big plans. You put together your business plan, your marketing plan, and everything else that you thought would give you the competitive advantage over the competition. Regardless of whether you started off the way you expected or not, there is no question that developing these plans better prepared you for what lay ahead.
However, for the most part, once a business starts gaining momentum and/or starts making money, things like a "business plan" are viewed as trivial (unless you are putting it together for funding, of course!). This is the very reason that most businesses begin to lose their identity. They ultimately lose their vision. As we see it, there are mainly THREE parts to a complete vision of a business:
Goal Setting: Having personal goals, personal business goals, and overall business goals that do not conflict.
Brand Development: Identifying your "competitive advantage", and putting together a business that illustrates it.
Core Principles: Helping your customers know who you are, what you stand for, and what your vision for the future is.
It has been said many times that having a solid vision is the first step towards having success in anything that you do. If that is the case, what do you see for the future of your business? Is it what you expected when you first opened your doors?
If the answer is no, don't hesitate to contact us, we are eager to see you grow!
