3 Ways To Find Out What Your Brand Says About You
What does your brand say about you? Is it clear what your business is doing for your customers? Most entrepreneurs and small business owners rarely think about these questions when it comes to their businesses. In today’s featured article, I would like to discuss, what does your brand say about you? What does your business do for customers? As a consumer and entrepreneur, these are questions I have asked myself over and over. One thing about branding is that it is really not that hard, once you are trained properly. However, you must know where you currently stand in the eye of the consumer. Here are a few tips to find out what your current brand says about you.
  • First, do you have a brand? Not just a logo. Does your business ring in the minds of consumers? Does your name or business over power your competitors? Example: Google~ If Google was to go away, would you be sad? I know I would. Google has paved the way to gathering information for the entire world. You have to make your brand ring in the minds of consumers, therefore, when your services or products are needed, consumers will immediately come to you.
  • Does Your brand have strong customer awareness? Find out by writing down what the customer awareness are at this time. . Explore how you are perceived by consumers. Take the time to get into the minds and hearts of your customers. If you are not sure its ok. Do a quick survey of your current clients and customers. A good tool to use is www.surveymonkey.com. This service offers a free version. You can’t go wrong there.
  • Take your current literature like your business card, and ask people that do not know you or what you do, and see if they can tell by your business card what you do? Is it clear to them what you do and who you serve? Does your tagline explain what you do? Or is it somewhat confusing and not clear to strangers, which could be potential clients. When it comes to branding, everything must be concise and clear not only to you but to everyone that comes across your brand.

When it comes to branding, you have to remember that the brand is really the force, feelings and psychology of the mood and everything that’s part of it. Does your brand force motivate customers to purchase your products or service? I hope it does.
